The 2024 Mercedes-AMG SL 43 is an elegant roadster with a soft-top roof and a distinctive sporty appearance. The proportions stay true to the traditional roadster design, combining a short rear overhang with a sleek, aerodynamic profile that emphasizes both elegance and performance.

The car is powered by a 2.0-liter 4-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine (M139) developed by AMG, delivering 381 horsepower (280 kW) and 480 Nm of torque. It’s paired with a 9-speed AMG Speedshift MCT automatic transmission and rear-wheel drive. The integrated mild hybrid system (BSG – Belt-driven Starter Generator) temporarily adds up to 14 hp and enhances efficiency through start/stop functionality and energy recuperation.
